
BOB is a L2 chain that lets developers build applications on Bitcoin. BOB combines Bitcoin’s security with Ethereum’s flexibility.
At BOB, I led the design of the entire product portfolio along with the BOB Fusion airdrop campaign.
BOB Fusion was an onboarding campaign that focused on increasing on-chain liquidity and attracting developers. We used a user-centered design approach, testing frequently to ensure validation.
In addition to UX/UI design, various other assets were created, including pitch decks for VC presentations, conference print materials, social media visuals, animations, and no-code Webflow development for various landing pages.
The challenge
BOB was a new project with no prior UX. We had to build everything from scratch, such as the brand identity, design system, onboarding UX, all the chain primitives like bridging, as well as a seamless dual-chain experience for BTC and EVM users.
The outcome
The outcome was a cohesive and scalable design system that served as the foundation for BOB’s brand and user experience. The design system streamlined the design and development process, enabling consistent front end implementation across the dApp, social media, and marketing assets.
The dual wallet experience provided seamless interaction with both BTC and EVM chains, empowering users to maximize the platform’s functionality.
The airdrop UX streamlined user onboarding and successfully attracted significant on-chain liquidity and kickstarted the ecosystem's growth.
